There are a lot of options. Stick with healthy foods, aka no high fructose corn syrup and no hydrogenated oils. Try to stay away from sugary food like candy, etc.

Here is a great food resource (tons of additional ideas)

You already know this by now, everyone does. You just want someone to tell you it’s ok to eat crap.

Google negative calorie foods. Also you would eat fiber and complex carbs.

Actually it doesn’t work like that, the truth is low fat diets and low carb diets DO NOT work.

My sister and I had to learn it the hard way until we found Fat Loss 4 Idiots.

    Check it out

The best foods to eat for maximum weight loss are proteins. Eat between 1 – 2 grams per pound of body weight. If you are working out with weights (which you should) consider the higher end.

Don’t believe the myth that a high protein diet is harmful to your kidneys.

High protein meals actually raise your thermogenisis (fat‐burning) ability. And you will waste less energy at rest – conserving your energy for the times when you really need it. So by getting more of your calories from protein you will lose fat, add lean muscle, and continue to burn calories at a higher rate.

You can increase your protein intake by eating lean cuts of beef, lean chicken, and turkey. Other good sources of protein are fish, eggs, yogurt and nuts.

Spread your protein intake among 6 six meals. Here’s a list of protein sources and the estimated protein content::

    EGGS ( 1 medium size ) 6 grams
    MILK (1 pint or 568ml) 19 grams
    LOW‐FAT YOGURT (plain) 150g 8 grams
    FISH (100g or 3.5 ounces) 21 grams
    CHEESE cheddar 100g (3.5 ounces) 25 grams
    ROAST CHICKEN 100g (3.5 ounces) 25 grams
MEATS AVERAGE (100g or 3.5 ounces) 25 grams

One more thing. Consider taking fish oils high in EPA/DHA.
This will help you lose weight too. 6-10 grams a day will work wonders. If you are a male, take in more DHA than EPA. Fish oils should be at the top of everyones list for overall health benefits.
