What can a doctor offer to aid with weight loss?

basically, im 17, 23 stone in weight and gradually killing myself lol, i ws just wondering what can the doctors offer to aid with mass weight loss for example can they offer medication or diet regimes or perhaps discounted gym memberships,im asking becase i dont know and i want to lose wieght now and i am currently at the start of a diet.

    You don’t necessarily need a gym membership or pills. Diet and exercise with free weights if generally enough, especially since you’re 17. Give it a month of daily exercise and stop eating all junk foods and foods that are high in calories.

    Doctors usually just give simple advice… i.e. eat healthier, not much help really.
