September 9th, 2009 | by admin |jordan asked:
Ive been on atkins for the first time and ive been on it for 11 days. I had a steady weight loss around half a pound a day which is normal in the first two weeks but in the last 4 days nothing has happened. I havent cheated and have cut down my food intake slightly but nothing? WHats up?

Your body believes you are starving. Its natural response is to protect you by hanging on to every single ounce of fat. To break through a diet plateau, try this
1. Eat an extra snack a day.
2. Add an extra half an hour of jarring exercise (sports like basketball, boxing, skating, anything that has jerky movements)

the plateau is expected when on a diet for that amount of time, try changing your food options like if you been eating the same thing at every breakfast or lunch change to different food(s) with nearly identical carb amounts and stuff
